As far as gadgets go, this may be one of the best I’ve seen in quite a while.  It’s called Auto-Finder, and it simply does what it says; it finds your car amid all the other cars in a parking lot or a parking garage.

Using a micro antenna system, the Auto-Finder is a wireless direction finding device that point to parked vehicles from up to 1/2 mile away.  To find a particular vehicle, users press and sweep a small hand-held device, and it guides them in the right direction, allowing them to get to their car quickly.  This would definitely come in handy in huge parking lots and dark parking garages.

In addition to determining the vehicle direction in large parking lots from up to 1/2 mile away, the Auto-Finder can determine the correct level the vehicle is parked on in a multi-level parking structure, and it’s also supposed to function in underground parking garages, too, and it reportedly doesn’t become confused when other Auto-Finders are in the same area.

After looking around, I found the Auto-Finder available anywhere from about $100.00 to $150.00.  A Family Pak for two drivers and two vehicles, as well as for four drivers and two vehicles, are also available.
