It’s Wednesday and time for another segment of Cool Car News and Awesome Sites, where I link to some of the coolest car sites, news and blogs on the web! As always, there’s something for everyone, so I hope Cars for Girls readers find something interesting – and fun – in today’s round-up web rodeo.
Attempting to find a silver lining, the gang over at Car Gurus have put together a list of what they believe to be the present great (and not so) cars of America, as brought to you by the good people of Chrysler and General Motors. The Chrysler Sebring is on one of the lists – can you guess which one?
Over at Autoblog, they’ve got the deets on the RHD Camaro. (Hint: Lefties only.)
Remember the Merkur? No? Okay, how about the 1971 Chevy Vega or the 1983 Renault Alliance? Anyone? Car and Driver lists the 10 most embarrassing award winners in the history of the automobile.

My favorite blog of the week shout-out goes to Car Lust. Their tag-line, “Interesting Cars Meet Irrational Emotion” truly does say it all. If you have a passion for older models, love learning about auto history and if old car advertisements make your heart skip a beat, then Car Lust is definitely a site worth bookmarking!
Car Type has a sweet in-depth article on the 2009 BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo and they’ve included some fantastic pics, as well.
Over at Anything On Wheels, they’ve summarized the Top 10 Most Ticketed Cars culled from MSN.
It looks as if police have finally solved that ”Missing Truck Mystery” in Laguna Beach.

Speaking of memories, after 44 model years and more than 9 million vehicles, MSN lists the Top 10 Mustangs of all time.
We can buy flowers, shop for food, hire employees and download music, all with the click of a mouse, but we still can’t purchase a new car online. This may be why.
