How Much Are You Spending a Week on Gas? [Poll Results]
Earlier this month I asked readers to share how much they were spending on gas a week. With gas prices so high, I was curious to see what sort of monetary impact they are having on our every day lives. Surprisingly the results were all over the place, however one thing I wasn’t surprised with was that only 13% of us are paying $20 or less a week for gas. 65% of Cars for Girls readers are paying over $40 a week for gas – which is $160 or more a month.
Over the past few weeks gas prices have come down a bit, however I think the results of this poll verify that some people are having a hard time fitting gas into their weekly budget these days.

Definitely surprising results. My husband drives a company truck with a gas card and I’m a stay-at-home-mom so thankfully this time of year our gas expenditures are low. Once school and activities start though – up it goes!
even though gas is more, I found I still use the car the same way. Haven’t been able to cut on any trips.
