If you’re in the Bakersfield, CA area next week, then you won’t want to miss the Lowrider Nationals. It’s the premier urban car culture and lifestyle festival and is returning August 1st to the Kern County Fairgrounds.

Hundreds of dazzling custom cars, eye-popping car hopping competition, shopping runway, and great eats offer fun for everyone. The live concert presents Mixxxmaster DJ Quick spinning live; platinum selling artist, Baby Bash, known for feel-good hits; popular Bobby Bracken and Brown Boy. Artists popular on today’s music scene open the show including: Junebug, Queenie, Duce and Gheed’d Up.
This is not your typical car show, the Lowrider Nationals is different, bringing together the full spectrum of urban custom cars culture: dubs, euros, imports and of course the legendary lowriders. Competitors vie for big prize money, trophies, and over $20,000 in awards, topped by the coveted super-bowl-style, diamond championship rings.
Show hours are Sunday, August 1stfrom 11am to 5pm at the Kern County Fairgrounds.
