Nov 30th: Best Day of the Month to Buy
It seems like we as car buyers, just keep getting better and better news! If you’re in the market to do a little car shopping, it looks like Nov 30th has been named the best day of the month for car buying.
This Thanksgiving, not only can we thank our family and friends, but new car buyers can thank automakers for some terrific deals on 2010 and 2011 models which can potentially save consumers nearly 40 percent. TrueCar.com, the authority on new car pricing, trends and forecasts, has identified the best car deals available for consumers as they shop for a new vehicle. The deals, available nationwide, reflect the possible discount from the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) and include manufacturer’s rebates and other incentives.
Last year, TrueCar.com had identified Black Friday as the best day to buy a vehicle. This year, TrueCar.com has identified Tuesday, November 30th, as the best day of the month to purchase a new car, according to the TrueTrends Report, which is a monthly collection of data-backed automotive intelligence on new car pricing and trends. But for people looking to shop during the Thanksgiving holidays, Saturday and Sunday are still considered good days to buy a vehicle.
“Typically, Black Friday is considered a good day to purchase a vehicle,” said Jesse Toprak, VP of Industry Trends and Insights for TrueCar.com. ”This year, car buyers can take advantage of all the Black Friday deals and then go shopping for a car over the weekend.”
