When it comes to your car, CarMD can deliver two things you need most – information and peace of mind.  CarMD is a diagnostic tool which plugs into your vehicle’s Data Link Connector and can be a useful tool when the check engine light is blazing and you don’t know why.  Once you plug the device in and let it do its work, you then remove it from the car, head over to your computer, load the CarMD software, log into the website, and take a look at possible problems, possible repairs and approximate costs for repair or replacement.

One of my favorite automotive sites on the web, RepairPal.com gives expert advice on common vehicle problems and takes the mystery out of car repair, and all within a user-friendly format that anyone can use. RepairPal gives you the insight into common problems for your vehicle make and model, and provides estimates for repairs from shops in your area or anywhere in the United States.
