Working Mother Magazine Names Chrysler to 100 Best Companies List – Again
For the twelfth year, the Chrysler Group has been named one of the “100 Best Companies for Working Mothers” by Working Mother magazine and for the second year in a row, the company is the only automaker to make the list.
Why did the Chrysler Group make the list? Specifically because Working Mother applauded the company’s efforts to provide innovative programs, which they believe focus on employee and family needs, including support services, child-care and eldercare referral programs, as well as its’ own National Child Care Network. Also noted was that Chrysler offers working mothers a variety of flexible work options, from flex time to job-sharing.
This year marks the 24-year anniversary for the “Best Companies” list, which is considered to be the benchmark for work-life practices in corporate America. According to the numbers, Working Mother magazine reaches more than two million readers, and is a leading magazine for career-minded moms.
